Kirill Gerstein plays "I Got Rhythm" (from Earl Wild's "Virtuoso Etudes after George Gershwin). This video was shot during a break of the recording sessions for the live album "The Gershwin Moment" with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and conductor David Robertson. The album is available on myrios classics (MYR022) as CD audio and High Resolution Download on February 16, 2018. The album includes Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" in its original 1924 Jazz Band Version and the Piano Concerto in F as well as three Etudes by Earl Wild. Special guest appearances by Gary Burton (on Oscar Levant's "Blame It On My Youth") and Storm Large (on "Summertime") complete this must-have live album.
