Suhel Seth Backs Piyush Goyal's Startups Comparison, Asks 'Where Is The Originality? Where's Idea?'

Suhel Seth reacted to Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s Bold 'Dukaandari Hi Karna Hai?' message to startups. He agreed with the Union Minister and questioned, 'Where is the originality?...Why hasn't India produced a global brand that people respect, venerate, reward, and that generates real revenue?' He further said, 'People ask, 'Where is the money?' But the real question is, 'Where is the idea?' There’s no idea...Why should the govt give them (businesses) money?' Suhel Seth added, 'Most of our startup founders are in the business of valuation. They’re more interested in driving up valuation.'
