The Spoonful of Laughter Campaign is a disruptive, out-of-the-box campaign focused on gleefully educating people about diabetes, cheekily correcting stereotypes, increasing familiarity over fear, and encouraging curiosity over judgment.
We’re partnering with comedians, activists, and artists to create content that shows there’s a lot of reasons to laugh when it comes to diabetes – but we have to be brave and smart enough to do it without adding to stigma.
We don’t want to lecture people into changing their stigmatizing behavior. We want to lead them — giggling — into a kinder and more joyful future.
