This is the enhanced romance scene with Bastila.

This game made BioWare's name when it was released for the XBOX and PC in the early 2000's. Few games have managed to achieve the popularity and cult following that this game did. Mass Effect owes its success in large part to the winning formula pioneered in this game.

Set four millennia before the original trilogy, KOTOR showed a side of the Star Wars universe that hadn't been explored before. It was during an era when swords were still viable weapons in combat against blasters. The Mandalorians were more than a symbolic name attached to a famous bounty hunter's armor; they were a scourge on the galaxy. The Jedi and Sith were actively at war with one another.

Although this game was immensely successful, its sequels were less so. KOTOR 2's ending left a cliffhanger that never really got resolved. The ending was rushed, and a significant amount of content was left out. BioWare eventually came back to this universe after finishing with Mass Effect, but "The Old Republic" appeased some while alienating many.
