Do you and your squad want a chance to win $3,000? I’m hosting an 8 team tournament out at my court in North Fort Myers Florida on March 21st. The goal of the tournament is to raise money through sponsors to buy basketball shoes for kids and families that are struggling right now and might not have the money to get some new kicks! Every time I go to the park in some of the run down spots, I see people hooping in running shoes with holes or someone doesn’t have basketball shoes or they are out dated. I have a decent amount of connections right now and I want to be able to provide a lot of shoes to people that need them that just want to hoop. Basketball has been my escape from things and always having a pair of shoes has obviously made it easier to play. HOWEVER, BE ONE OF THE FIRST teams to email (mailto:Friga3ktourney@gmail.com) with $375 ready to pay to come out here. We will not be covering any expenses and the date is March 21st. After we receive all of the team information we will make a bracket and give you the time your team will play. You’re welcome to chat, hang out at the court, and stay around for the games but this tournament is to see what 5 really has what it takes to bring the bag back home with them and help raise money for these kids. ( WE WILL BE TAKING A FEW HOURS TOP RESPOND)
