* warning* Auto paint is high VOC so wear a mask made to filter vapors. Harbor Freight has these pretty cheap. You should use a mask with any high VOC paint even canned spray paint. If you smell anything it's not good enough. Notice I wear one except when I sprayed the base coat. It was a low VOC water based paint which is not the norm. Always wear a mask even when mixing and cleaning the gun. When in a booth you need to wear a paint suit as well. I'm outside so I"m a little more laxed but again I'm not a professional.
