Autumn Day on Whitetop Mountain

I was recently visiting Southwest Virginia and it was such a beautiful autumn day so I thought I'd hike up to Whitetop Mountain and explore the area.

The views were amazing the colors are just so beautiful. I found an area called "lovers leap". There were a couple of people sitting there and I didn't want to disturb them. So I didn't go all the way to that overlook but up and over the mountain on the other side were some amazing views and outcrops of rocks as well. This is the Appalachian Trail side of the mountain.

If you haven't visited this area I would encourage you to go. It's a great location for a picnic lunch or just a place to go and explore.

Please do practice the 7 principles of Leave no Trace when visiting the areas I film or any public lands and National Parks.
