I'm honoured to present the first full unveiling of DeltaW's newest ROM hack: Sonic 1 - The Super Challenges!
In this ROM hack, you'll be playing through two gamemodes as an assortment of souped up Super and Hyper forms! This video showcases the Island Dash gamemode, one where you have to go through the entirety of Sonic 1, trying to rack up as many rings as possible in the lowest amount of time possible!
It may look easy at first glance, but don't let the premise bait you, as your ring counter will drain MUCH faster over time!
Me personally, I absolutely adore this concept. Sometimes, I love blazing through levels in Super and Hyper forms at breakneck speeds and without worry of the impending challenges, so building a ROM hack around that very premise is an instant winner in my book!
