🧟 Starting Over – Echo Creek to Louisville
The last update wiped our old save, so we’re starting from scratch in Echo Creek and pushing all the way across the map. This run begins with rocks and planks and, if we live long enough, ends in the nightmare streets of Louisville.
🏚 Echo Creek Spawn & Farmhouse Safehouse
We spawn in Echo Creek, a small rural town with a small but dangerous zombie population. First move: yell, round up most of the local zeds, and drag them out of town. Once they’re pulled away from the good loot, we cut across the fields and sprint to the farmhouse west of Echo Creek.
That farmhouse has a well, so it becomes our first real safehouse and staging point while we slowly take the town back.
🪵 Weapons & Early Loop
We already broke our knives and hatchet. They’re gone.
Right now the arsenal is:
Planks used as clubs
Handheld stones for skull-bashing
No spears, no fancy crafting. The loop is simple and brutal:
walk the road toward Echo Creek → fight until planks and stones break → run back to the farmhouse, re-equip and refill water → repeat.
As we push deeper into Echo Creek, we’ll loot for better melee weapons and tools so we can finally retire the rock-and-board lifestyle.
🥚 Ovo Farms & Chicken Cull
Short-term goal: clear a route and claim Ovo Farms as our permanent Echo Creek base.
Last run, uncollected eggs turned into thousands of chickens and dropped the FPS to ~10. This time we’re culling about two-thirds of the flock (around 100 birds) as soon as we move in. We’ll butcher and cook them, keep a sustainable number alive, and stop the save from dying to poultry.
🔌 Generator, Car & Helicopter Event
While we secure Echo Creek and Ovo Farms, we’re also racing the helicopter event. We need:
A generator
The generator magazine (RNG spoiled us last game, not counting on that again)
A working car to link bases and bail out when things go bad
All of that starts with careful looting runs through Echo Creek while we’re still stuck with basic weapons.
⛽ Rosewood & The Growing Network
Once Echo Creek and Ovo are stable, we drive to Rosewood, the second stop in our long route:
Echo Creek → Rosewood → March Ridge → Muldraugh → Valley Station → West Point → Fallas Lake → Riverside → Brandenburg → Ekron → Irvington → Louisville.
In Rosewood we set up Base #2 at the northern gas station. It becomes our fuel hub and forward operating base. We’ll:
Clear down main street
Sweep residential Rosewood
Commute back and forth to Ovo Farms for chicken and food
Somewhere in this phase we’ll also raid the Gun Mall west of the farmhouse, grab all the guns and ammo we can carry, and actually learn to use them.
🏛 Rosewood Prison & Mid-Game Siege
Armed up from the Gun Mall, we’ll tackle Rosewood Prison. Clearing it turns the prison into a fortified mega-base and proves whether our skills and gear are ready for the rest of the map.
🏘 March Ridge to West Point
From Rosewood, the road trip continues:
3️⃣ March Ridge – tight, compact town where every corner is an ambush risk.
4️⃣ Muldraugh – highway and industrial corridor packed with tools, vehicles, and trouble.
5️⃣ Valley Station – bridge between the central region and the river towns; a key logistics stop.
6️⃣ West Point – denser streets and heavier zombie counts; great loot if we survive the pressure.
Each town gets at least one proper base, adding more safehouses to our growing network.
🌊 Fallas Lake to Riverside
7️⃣ Fallas Lake – quieter lakeside area perfect for fishing, foraging, and a calmer fallback base.
8️⃣ Riverside – organized riverside town with strong loot, good houses, and scenic but dangerous streets.
These locations help spread out our food sources so we’re not relying solely on Ovo’s chickens.
🌉 Brandenburg, Ekron, Irvington
9️⃣ Brandenburg – rural crossroads where we anchor another base and connect east and west routes.
🔟 Ekron – small town, sharp danger; another foothold and loot stop.
1️⃣1️⃣ Irvington – far-west edge of the plan. Once we lock Irvington down, the westward leg of the run is complete.
🏙 Endgame: Louisville & Airport
After Irvington, we drive back across the entire map and finally take on Louisville and its airport—the final exam of the run. Massive city, absurd zombie density, and no guarantee we walk out. Everything from Echo Creek onward is just preparation for this.
🎯 Series Goals
Build a real, fortified base in every town: Echo Creek, Rosewood, March Ridge, Muldraugh, Valley Station, West Point, Fallas Lake, Riverside, Brandenburg, Ekron, Irvington, and Louisville.
Max every skill to 10.
Turn rocks and planks in Echo Creek into a multi-town survival network that can stand up to Louisville’s hordes.
