A yard of low growing native plants can make for some low maintenance lawn care. The Friends of the Living Prairie Museum are hosting an event on May 8th to introduce people to some native plants that can be substituted for grass. Ash Burkowski is the group's president, and is leading the workshop that will teach people about thirty low growing species of native plants that require little to no care. CBC Manitoba community reporter, along with videographer Warren Kay, were at the Living Prairie Museum last week, where Burkowski took them on a native plant tour
