We bought this dresser from FB market a while ago. I think we paid $60 for it. It was in very good condition, but we wanted to change the color to match our home decor. We went with Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in Palmetto Green with a little blend of In The Navy. We also used Decor Transfers by Re.design with Prima then sealed with Clear Coat Satin also from Dixie Belle.
I myself have never done any painting or refurnishing furniture before so this was definitely a challenge. It took me way longer than expected but to be fair I was doing this in between my toddler’s nap time and after he went to bed, like an hour or two a day. I ended up spending over a week on this project but I like how it turned out. I have learned some new tricks and definitely will use it on the next one (if my husband lets me do another one).
