Im running the 07-09 GT500 Lash adjusters, the GT500 lash adjusters are about 0.0001 taller than the 4.6 3V. When the 4.6 3V encounters low enough oil pressure it can cause the lash adjusters to collapse and you’ll end up breaking a rocker. Since the GT500 Lash adjusters are taller if it does encounter low oil pressure, the lash adjusters won’t collapse as much as the 4.6 3V lash adjuster.
It’s a known issue with the 4.6 3V a lot of people normally break rockers often so the 07-09 GT500 lash adjusters are the better upgrade!!!!!
No modifications required just soak in oil over night and send it!!!
