Sharing of experience by XLFM practitioners during Master Lu's Dharma Assembly on the 13th August 2016 in Penang, Malaysia (Eng Subbed).
Members of Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door (or what is known in the east as XLFM ‘Xin Ling Fa Men’) sharing their experience of practising Buddhism and XLFM and how it had created a positive impact on their lives.
Typical minimum requirements of practising XLFM are:
1) Be a vegetarian for at least 2 days a month (typically the 1st and the 15th day of the lunar month).
2) Avoid eating any raw or freshly killed food. For example, sashimi, freshly killed seafood, etc.
3) Do more good deeds and less bad deeds.
4) Recite Buddhist mantras in your spare time.
5) Have more faith in God/Christ/Buddha/Bodhisattva.
Doing the above gives you some 'insurance' for a better afterlife as well as a less rocky path in your current life. That's it. Personally, I don't think that's asking for too much, right?
