How to replace the carbon brush on a tumble dryer T1? | Miele

This video shows how to replace the carbon brush in Miele T1 tumble dryers.

The safety and warning instructions at the beginning of the video must be read in full before starting work and followed during the work.
The maintenance work shown in the video may only be carried out by electricians with technical training, knowledge and experience.

Tools required for the repair:
Spare part carbon brush (sensor sub-ssembly)
Safety gloves
Screwdriver T20

Disconnect the device from the power supply 2:22
Remove the cover caps and loosen the two screws on both sides with a T20 screwdriver: 2:28
Press in the screws and remove the cover upwards: 2:47
Pull out the plug of the sensor sub-assembly / carbon brush: 2:58
Fold the carbon brush away from the drum: 3:03
Remove the screw with a T20 screwdriver: 3:09
Release the lock and take out the sensor sub-assembly/carbon brush: 3:18
Insert the new sensor sub-assembly/carbon brush: 3:33
Tighten the screw with a T20 screwdriver: 3:42
Fold the carbon brush onto the drum: 3:50
Insert the plug: 3:56
Put the cover on and screw it on tightly on both sides with a T20 screwdriver: 4:03
Safety check according to standard: 4:17
Connect the device to the power supply: 4:26
