Born and raised in Visalia, nestled in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Curtis is a proud fourth-generation cattle rancher in the picturesque Orosi foothill area. He is actively involved in managing a successful cow-calf and stocker operation, where he combines traditional ranching practices with innovative strategies to ensure sustainability and profitability.

Beyond his role on the ranch, Curtis is a respected member of the agricultural community, dedicating his time and insights to the Cattlemen’s Board. Curtis’s journey in agriculture began at Golden West High School, where his early exposure to farming instilled in him a deep appreciation for the land. Following his passion, he pursued higher education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, earning a degree in Agricultural Science with a dual concentration in Fruit Science and Animal Science in 2011. This comprehensive academic background equipped him with a deep understanding of both crop production and livestock management, laying a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

In addition to his involvement in the cattle ranching, Curtis is also actively engaged in his family’s diversified farming operation, growing oranges, pistachios, walnuts and pomegranates. His hands-on experience across various agricultural commodities enhances his ability to provide valuable insights and guidance to clients seeking to invest in agricultural properties.
