On the occasion of Kalpataru Day when Sri Ramakrishna grant the genuine wishes of his disciples on 1st January 1886, we celebrate the day with worship, prayer, meditation and talks. A memorial to Swami Sridharanandaji, the President of the Vedanta Centre of Sydney is also held to commemorate the contributions of the late Swami who pioneered the Vedanta movement in many of the cities in Australia including Brisbane.
