Original Tv theme written by Fanshawe I had to have for my playlist. Apologies for the distortion on this one. Flambards is a television series of 13 episodes which was broadcast in the United Kingdom in 1979 on ITV and in the United States in 1980. Based on the trio of Flambards novels by English author K. M. Peyton, this ITV drama series from 1979 is set from 1909 to 1918. Set during an era of great social and political chang, the thirteen episodes tell the story of orphan Christina Parsons, who is passed around from pillar to post by family members until finally settling with her uncle at his Essex home – Flambards. Released on a single and album soundtrack.
