DragonsofWales (Andy Frazer) is a paleoartist notorious for presenting dinosaurs in peculiar and often shocking lights. From big filaments on the arms of tyrannosaurids, wattles on Velociraptor, to reduced limbs on abelisaurids and bright colouration tail "feathers" on ceratopsids. He consistently pushes the art form of drawing prehistoric animals in new and exciting directions, not concerned about making them cool or badass, but presenting them as real living animals that often do weird or bizarre things. Through his art, Andy Frazer challenges audiences to rethink how we perceive prehistoric and imaginary animals, not as monsters or movie icons, but as parts of complex ecosystems with behaviours, adaptations, and evolutionary histories all their own. His approach blurs the line between fantasy and science, encouraging viewers to imagine a natural world that is stranger, more dynamic, and more beautiful than we often assume.

As well as this speculative paleoart, and his speculative zoology series "Dragons of Wales" where he has released books featuring hypothetical descendants of pterosaurs that survived the K–Pg Mass Extinction and survived through to the modern day, diversifying into various forms in modern-day Wales where he lives. In addition, he has another speculative book series called Novasaurs which briefly gets mentioned in this video, which was a response to the "Chickinosaurus Project", which was looking into backward-engineering dinosaurs from bird DNA.
