In Ace Combat 5, you lead a squadron offighter pilots that is involved in several key events during a war between two superpowers. The Journey Home is a song for peace during the conflict, which is heard for the first time when sung in defiance of a pro-war vice president. Later on, it is played over the radio during a chaotic naval battle, and pilots from multiple nations sing it together prior to their final major war battle. This arrangement combines the end-credits version of The Journey Home with Into the Dusk, a track that plays after one of your allies must make the ultimate sacrifice.
