It was another textbook day of sailing in Urla, Turkey, as all fleets completed two races under steady 10-knot breeze and warm summer skies. Racing began right on schedule at 13:00 and wrapped up smoothly by 15:30—marking the third consecutive day without delays at the 2025 420 World Championships.
With the event now at its midway point, the Men/Mixed and U17 fleets have been split into Gold and Silver groups ahead of the final series. Tomorrow, Gold fleets and the Women’s fleet will compete on Course Area 2, while Silver fleets will race on Area 1.
Racing continues tomorrow with two more races scheduled for all fleets and the first warning signal set for 13:00. The weather forecast remains stable, with sunny skies and light-to-moderate breeze expected.
