4 Days Paragliding & Camping | Northern Pakistan Karakoram

The second installment from our trip to Pakistan in the 2024 summer.

After an epic start to our vol-biv (fly & camp) adventure in Northern Pakistan, we used the last 4 days to paraglide south towards Islamabad, saving half the drive back to the airport. Our plan was to fly over Spantik, but an unexpected headwind forced a detour. Instead, we soared around Rakaposhi, camped near Nanga Parbat, we then managed to fly over the Babusar Top Pass, landing along the highway leading to the capital.

This was true adventure flying, just paragliders, mountains, and our tents. With all our camping gear inside our harnesses, we moved entirely by air and foot, covering vast distances in some of the world’s most breathtaking terrain.
