Medarot, or Medabots as they were called outside of Japan was another really cool collector and anime fad that took place in the early 2000s. I remember how it was all we cared about at school, trying to buy packets of potato chips all the time to obtain more of them and the brave ones betting them in chap flip games trying to win more of them that way. Of course, it was the anime that drove the hype and introduced all the characters and medabots and rewatching now that I'm much older is what led me to find these old chaps and make this video.
