However, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has clearly stated that the budget will not be passed until he is allowed to meet Imran Khan in jail, along with his full economic team. In his official statement, Gandapur said:

“We received our mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because of Imran Khan’s ideology, and the government here is based on that ideology.

The fake Form-47 government has constantly obstructed my meetings with Imran Khan, even though I’m the Chief Minister of the most sensitive province.

Now, while preparing the 2025–26 budget, we need our leader’s guidance — but the federal and Punjab governments are still not allowing me and my finance team to meet him.

Imran Khan has given clear instructions: No budget should be passed without his consultation and approval.

Tomorrow, I will present my course of action in the KPK Assembly regarding this unconstitutional behavior. The budget will only be passed after a proper meeting with Imran Khan.”

For now, the budget will only be formally presented to fulfill constitutional requirements, and the assembly debate will begin — but it will not be passed.
