In this video we compared two quality unfiltered data feeds. The CQG connection is coming from our broker. The IQfeed was a 7 day trial which is available via their website. In the first part of the video we explained a few differences between the two, the biggest difference being the cost. There are a lot more factors we did not cover in the video as to why IQfeed is more pricey. Some examples are: They have much more historical data, they provide complete order book depth, they provide access to quality news sources and other market internals. In this video we used only the market NQ to compare the two as we thought it was a good product to test the data feeds. If you compared IQfeed to other broker feeds for individual equities, you might notice a much bigger difference. Please note that the speed at which you receive market data can differ based on many factors which were not discussed in this video.
