The Investiture Ceremony, held on 19 July 2023, was a momentous occasion at National Public School, ITPL, where the school student council was bestowed with leadership responsibilities for the academic year 2023-24. This ceremony aimed to instill a sense of responsibility, discipline, and dedication among the selected students and encourage them to uphold the school's values and ethos. The event commenced with the arrival of our esteemed CEO Dr. Chaithra Harsha, Academic Dean Ms. Charulatha Prakaash, mentors, coordinators, and the House Master and House Mistresses. Their presence added grandeur and motivation to the entire occasion.
The appointed student council members were selected through a rigorous process that included nominations, interviews, and voting. The names of the elected leaders were announced amidst applause and cheers from their fellow students and teachers. The key positions included Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Captain, Sports Captain, the four House Captains and House Vice-Captains, and the Senior and Junior Prefects were pinned with the badges and sashes by the CEO, Dean, House Master and House Mistresses. The newly appointed student council members pledged to carry out their responsibilities with utmost sincerity and dedication. They took an oath, promising to uphold the values of the institution, maintain discipline, and work towards the betterment of the school and its students. The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered inspiring speeches, expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to serve the school in their leadership roles. They encouraged their peers to work together as a team and contribute to the school's growth.
Dr. Chaithra Harsha addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of leadership and responsibility in molding the future of the nation. She highlighted the qualities that the appointed students should possess, such as integrity, perseverance, and empathy.
