With my last video on the art of the AURORA Monsters, a few people assumed that I'd ignored the Frightening Lightning boxes and I actually did because I wanted to give them their own video. These boxes are unique because they weren't around for very long. When AURORA first decided to produce "Glow in the Dark" model kits in 1969, these were the the boxes that they used. However, being that these were long rectangular boxes just like the original non glow model kits, AURORA felt that these boxes looked too much like the originals and decided that they needed to change them and went with the square boxes.
