Okay, officially coming out of hibernation because every time a new bisexual with a rough childhood enters the scene sirens go off for me (pun intended). But in all seriousness, I had already been aware of 9-1-1 for years and had been pondering this video for a while, but finally got motivated to make it in this past week.

I think the writing for 9-1-1 is so top notch and the way they have slowly built the characters on that show has been thrilling to watch. Every piece of every character's personality is rooted in something real that has either been shown to us or WILL be shown to us.

This video is an exploration into Buck's dynamic with his family and the way his history has molded him into both a person who can trend towards dangerously impulsive, but whose actions are always rooted in a fearless desire to save others.
