The pharmaceutical company Abliva is testing a new drug intended to reduce fatigue in people with mitochondrial disease (Mito fatigue). Abliva asked Sprout, a health research company, to interview people with mitochondrial disease to learn about the impact of fatigue on their lives. The researchers at Sprout and Abliva used this information to create a questionnaire that can measure fatigue (and whether it’s getting better or worse) in the upcoming drug trial.
