We continue our discussion on how to use Group 2 of the Tagalog personal pronouns. In this video, we talk about using Group 2 personal pronouns “when talking about oneself”. Under this topic, there are about four conditions or subtopics to discuss. These are:
1. When expressing a feeling towards someone or something
2. When expressing a desire to do something
3. When expressing one’s ability to do something
4. When expressing one’s awareness of something
In this video, we will cover the second subtopic: “When expressing a desire to do something.” We will use key words that can be combined with Group 2 personal pronouns to express this condition. These key words are:
• Gusto (like, want)
• Kailangan (need)
• Ayaw (don’t like, don’t want)
We will use the Verb + Subject + Object or VSO sentence pattern or structure in forming sentences using the above key words using Group 2 personal pronouns.
