Tractor Trailer Spills Beer Cans, Kegs Onto 210 Freeway During Multi-Vehicle Crash in Azusa

AZUSA, Calif., Sept. 30 (KNN) – The California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle collision involving two semi-trailer trucks on Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred westbound on the 210 Freeway at Vernon Avenue in Azusa shortly before 3 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two semis and several other vehicles involved in the crash. Approximately 5,000 cans and kegs of beer spilled onto the freeway as a result of the collision.

One individual sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Currently, the California Highway Patrol has closed a lane at Vernon Avenue due to debris blocking all lanes.

A Sig Alert has been issued, although the duration of the closure is unknown.
