Mouthwashing is a remarkable horror game, with a unique structure and incredible writing. But the devs have structured it to jump around in time - and that helps them pull off an incredible trick. The story at the heart of Mouthwashing is different than the story being told by the game. Only by pinning down the real story can we understand some of Mouthwashing’s biggest mysteries: Why is the Pony Express logo always there? What does the dead pixel represent? And why is so important that we play as Jimmy and Curly?

Jimmy and Curly swap POVs as the captains, so much of the game is focused on them. But about what the rest of the crew? What do Anya, Daisuke and Swansea believe is happening in this horror game?
