Step inside a modern shipyard to watch a giant container ship come to life—from raw steel to launch. This full manufacturing process video follows steel coils and plates as they are cleaned, leveled, plasma-cut, bent, drilled and framed into panels, then welded into massive hull blocks inside a dry dock. You’ll see block lifting by gantry cranes, precision alignment with lasers, long seam welding robots, and dimensional QC. The hull is shot-blasted, primed, top-coated and marked with draft lines and IMO numbers before the propulsion system goes in: shaft alignment, bronze propeller fitting, and main engine mounting, plus piping, cables, deck gear and superstructure. Finally, we test systems, flood the dock, float off, and head for sea trials.
