This series introduces the traditional artisanal techniques used at Kyoto State Guest House in short videos.
In the fifth video, students from Kyoto Women’s University shine a spotlight on Tsuzure-ori tapestry weaving and introduce its techniques and artistry.
Kyoto State Guest House is open to the public throughout the year. The wall tapestry Reika featured in this video can be seen in Fuji-no-Ma at Kyoto State Guest House.
