Lake Morton is located in Lakeland, Florida.
Lake Morton is best known for its birds. Swans glide across the water, joined by ducks, geese, and herons that have made the lake their home for generations. For decades, feeding the swans was a local tradition, and even today the birds remain a symbol of the lake’s calm charm. The walking path around the water draws joggers, families, and students from nearby Florida Southern College, whose historic architecture adds to the area’s character.
