Glorietta Park Redevelopment New Fountain and Roundabout

The Glorietta Park Redevelopment is a central piece of Ayala Land’s broader P13-billion "reinvention" of its flagship malls. The project, which officially broke ground in early 2024, is transforming the existing green spaces into a more modern, integrated hub known as "The Plaza."
As of late 2025, here is the current status and the vision for the new park:
1. Key Features of "The Plaza"
The redevelopment is moving away from the traditional "pocket park" feel toward a more cohesive, multi-functional urban space.
The Transformation of Dolphin Park: The well-known "Dolphin Park" (located between Glorietta 4 and 5) is being rebranded as The Plaza. It will serve as the primary outdoor anchor for the complex.
Al Fresco Dining: Surrounding buildings are being fitted with improved balconies and terrace seating that overlook the park, creating a seamless transition between the mall and the outdoors.
Modern Aesthetics: The redesign includes a new fountain, sustainable landscaping (preserving the existing 100+ trees), and upgraded "wellness" features like better walkability and noise-reduction layouts.
Interactive Technology: A massive 300-square-meter 13K LED screen was recently unveiled nearby at the Glorietta 4 cinema area, signaling the high-tech, futuristic tone of the entire redevelopment.
2. Project Timeline & Status
Started: Q1 2024.
Current Status (Dec 2025): The project is in "full blast." While significant sections of the park and the mall interiors (like the new A-Luxe Cinemas and the Glorietta Grand Mall hallway) are already finished and open, the full outdoor integration is still ongoing.
Target Completion: The entire Glorietta complex redevelopment is expected to be fully finished by the end of 2026.
3. Impact on Access
If you are planning to visit, keep in mind that the construction has altered the usual flow of the area:
Drop-off Changes: The main Glorietta 4 drop-off at Courtyard Drive remains closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the park’s expansion into a "car-free" zone.
Pedestrian Access: While cars are rerouted, pedestrian entrances to Glorietta 4 and the connection to One Ayala remain open.
