🎬 An Empathy Studios Original - “Tendi’s Story” is a powerful short film about the life of Mount Everest Sherpa, Tendi, exploring resilience, profound loss, and the essential value of compassion in the high-stakes environment of the Himalayas.

Tendi recounts his extraordinary journey from his childhood in a simple, rural village in Eastern Nepal to becoming a mountain porter at age 13. The film offers a raw, personal perspective on the world's highest peaks, including Tendi's reflection on the devastating loss of 38 close friends in the 2014 and 2015 Everest avalanches.
