Course Description
The course is a straight, flat, 5k out and back with a slight loop through a wooded area at the turnaround point, along the Vermuyden Way public footpath. This route is all on well-trodden grass trails, apart from a small section under the motorway bridge, which is made up of concrete paths. It is bordered on both sides by 2 waterways - the River Torne and South Engine Drain. Please be aware of and respect dog walkers and fishermen along the route. The route is all-terrain buggy friendly.
