SKIING the 'TRUE' VALLEE BLANCHE/PETIT ENVERS - Chamonix Aiguille du Midi

There are many ways to ski the Vallee Blanche, but only one line is actually the 'true' Vallee Blanche... The line of the 'classic' descent actually follows the Glacier du Geant in its upper reaches! Here we are skiing a combination of the True Vallee Blanche and Petit Envers du Plan itineraries, both of which ski down the actual 'true' Vallee Blanche! These lines are both a bit steeper and more 'adventurous' than the classic ski descent, but not quite as steep and technical as the Grand Envers itinerary.
Despite being hot and sunny, we manage to find some nice untouched 'spring' powder, and it was still just about possible to keep skis on all the way to the ice tunnels, as long as you dont mind a bit of rock hopping at the end! "Every ski is a rock ski!"
