Witsands greeted us with rolling waves and endless horizon — a place that felt alive with promise. We cast our lines with hope, chasing the dream of that one big pull… but the ocean had other plans. Only a few small fish rose from the deep, tiny victories in a vast wilderness of water.
But somehow, it didn’t matter. The laughter carried over the wind, the stories echoed between the dunes, and every sunrise felt like a moment carved just for us. The fish were small, yes… but the experience was immense.
Witsands reminded us that sometimes the ocean feeds the soul more than the bucket. And on this trip — it fed us plenty.
