R154 MANUAL Swapping my Toyota Chaser JZX100 DRIFT CAR!

We're finally doing the long-awaited manual swap on the JZX100! Follow along as we convert this legendary JZX100 Toyota Chaser from automatic to manual R154 transmission. It's a big step for this 1JZ powered chaser and a huge moment in our transmission series. This JDM project is really taking shape to ultimately be my daily-driftcar.

In this episode, we start the drift car build with an R154 manual swap on my non-turbo JDM Toyota JZX100 Chaser Tourer S. Turning it into a proper drift car while keeping it road legal.

We remove the factory automatic transmission, exhaust, propshaft, and other automatic transmission related components. Then we prep and install the R154 manual gearbox with a fresh clutch disc and clutch release bearing. Wiring is also sorted in this episode to get everything working properly with the new manual setup. Hopefully you find this episode helpful on your project also :)
