Hey, guys! Back with Drawn to Life. I've remastered this one before (man, 2019 is making me re-visit my old stuff), the old version's link is down below!

▾ About this Remix ▾

This is the track that plays during Mari and Jowee's romantic moments throughout the game. They're never confirmed to be dating, or even lovers, though that's heavily implied through their actions. It's also the most shipped (and probably the only) pair of the game! The original song has the same vibes as this one, but I decided to go for a more cheesy-classic-love-song type of feel. This is quite different from my usual remixes, as the electronic part of it is completely gone. I think it turned out okay, it feels fresh!

My main focus with this one was the piano and the acoustic guitar. I had to make sure the notes played by both didn't interfere with the melody of each, and had to change a lot of the original sections in subtle ways to make it work; the original has overlapping notes which only sound good with the original game's soundfont. I also mixed in some bits of another DtL song. Fans of the game will recognize it. Maybe a sign of what's coming? ;)
