Found objects give your work character and uniqueness. It's not just good for your wallet, it's good for the planet!

There are 5 categories of stuff to start collecting that I review in this video:
PAPER: Old book pages and papers, junk mail (especially security envelopes), receipts, tickets, packaging, maps, sheet music, magazines, catalogs

FABRIC and FIBER: Scraps of fabric or lace, threads, yarns, ribbon bits, pieces of worn clothing (including buttons and tags)

Small Found Objects: bottle caps, broken jewelry, buttons, keys, charms and broken jewelry, small toys, game pieces, screws, washers, wire scraps

Packaging and Textures: corrugated cardboard, bubble wrap, mesh produce bags, weird packaging

Organic: Dried leaves, flowers and seed pods, coffee and tea stained things
