The SMALLEST MINIATURE I've EVER painted

I recently finished painting one of the smallest miniatures I've ever painted and I'd like to share some of my thoughts on the project with you.

Painting smaller models offers a different set of challenges than larger scales. Everything is obviously a lot smaller so you need to be more precise with your paint brush, small mistakes become magnified and more obvious. Textures becomes less important while your contrast has to be more extreme to ensure the viewer has a clear picture of the figure. The smaller the model gets the more pronounced these challenges become. With a miniature that's only 20mm tall these difficulties are very pronounced.
