Drag Through Nail Art | Recycling Jewellery for Nails

I’m back doing nails, and today Fabulous Fay is back being Fussy as always.

I’m going to start with Base Coat for Adhesion. I’m them going to put all of my colours on a palette and I’m doing a new technique today. I’ll start with a line of each colour in rainbow order and before I cure, I’m going to drag through with a chain from an old necklace, keeping the pressure really light.

I’m going to do a fill cover nail on the ring finger and then a smile line on the thumb..

I’ll place my colours, drag through. Then I’ll use my Baba Cass brush with some clean up solution and wipe away the excess. I’ll then use Krimo on all of the nails.

For the other three nails, I’m going to add stripes of my rainbow colours but not blend them with the chain.

I’m going to add stars and to do that I’ll mix some base coat and white out for little dots and use white out on it’s own for the sparkle. This gives the star depth. And for an extra pop I’m going to outline in white. Obviously I’ve got to finish with Bling and Top Coat.
