Geotechnical Engineers in Gulf Corporation Countries-GCC (GEG) is thrilled to invite you to this distinguished GeoTalk-005 in the series.
Our keynote speaker for this series is the esteemed Prof. Harry Poulos (from Tetra Tech Coffey), the Father of Piled Rafts!
Prof. Poulos will deliver a speech about "Piled Raft Foundations – Characteristics, Design, and Applications" with interesting case studies from the Gulf Region and globally.
The moderator of the event is Dr.-Ing. Marwan Al-Zaylaie (from Dubai Development Authority) will also provide a Supplemental Insight: Performance and Savings of Piles in Sedimentary Rocks in the Gulf Region.
The host of the event is Eng. Hamzah M. B. Al-Hashemi (from Geofem Ltd.) will provide a Supporting Study: Micropiled Rafts in the Gulf Region.
