Bondo Fernendes is one of India's best percussionist who holds the distinction of being one of the only Latin Percussionist in India who has learned Latin Rhythms thorugh his years of Travel in Europe and especially travelling with the Gypsies of Spain. Bondo has collaborated with Numerous musicians across the world and always describes his playing as " Playing from the Heart" . Bondo resides in Goa and has also earned the distiction of being the percussionist to introduce the Cajon in India. He initially learned playing the Cajon from his collaboration with Brazilian Percussionist Rubem Dantas who was the person responsibile for introducing the Cajon to Flamenco Music and Dance.
