I Tried Growing Food For 200 Days!

I started growing food because of a video about AI taking all the jobs. Somehow, watching robots take over the world made me want to learn how to grow things...you know, just in case I needed to feed my family through an apocalypse. The only problem? I don’t have a green thumb. At all. But for the past 200 days, I’ve been trying anyway: planting squash, beans, corn, potatoes, and my personal favorite, sweet potatoes. Between late starts, pest battles, and plenty of plant funerals, I learned that sometimes the garden doesn’t give you food… it gives you lessons.

From rotting zucchini to my first (tiny but mighty) homegrown sweet potatoes, this journey taught me that failure is just part of the process. Next year, I’ll be back! Starting earlier, growing bigger, and hopefully reaping more than just muddy hands.
