Tidal Wave is a thrilling log flume ride manufactured by L&T Systems, operating at Crealy Theme Park & Resort since March 2003. Riders climb high above the treetops before plunging down two exciting drops, the second of which is a dramatic 40-foot descent into a splash-filled pool. The final drop takes place in an enclosed section, adding to the suspense before the ultimate soaking. With seating restrictions that allow up to three adults per boat, it’s a great ride to share with friends or family, just don’t expect to stay dry. A photo point captures the action just before the plunge, making for a perfect souvenir.

Guests must be at least 92cm to ride Tidal Wave, with those under 150cm requiring a responsible adult. It’s one of the park’s most popular water rides and a refreshing way to cool off on warmer days.

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is Devon’s largest theme park, offering more than 60 rides and attractions, along with live entertainment, a zoo, and themed play areas. Originally opened in 1989, the park has become a go-to family destination and has been voted Devon’s best day out for eight consecutive years. Operated by Maximum Fun Devon Limited, the park continues to grow year after year.

In 2022, Crealy launched its most significant expansion with the opening of Sooty Land, a major themed area based on the legendary British television character Sooty. Sooty Land features four themed rides—Sooty's Magic Bus, Sweep’s Flying Circus, Soo’s Sweet Balloon Ride, and Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Dizzy—as well as 10 indoor attractions housed inside the Sooty Land Pier building. Guests can explore Sooty’s TV studio, Hall of Fame, climbing walls, mirror maze, interactive games, and themed eateries including Sooty’s Diner, Sweep’s Hot Dogs, and Soo’s Tea Room.

Crealy also offers an extensive resort on-site, with a wide range of accommodation options. Families can stay in luxury lodges with hot tubs, glamping tents, or use the touring caravan pitches. The resort includes entertainment, dining, and direct access to the theme park, making it perfect for a short break in the heart of the Devon countryside.

Alongside Tidal Wave, the park also features the Twister spinning coaster, the Maximus junior coaster, a Log Flume, Driving School, and large themed play areas such as Fort Crealy, Pirate’s Revenge, and the Adventure Zone soft play area, all designed for a day full of family fun.
