Mahendragiri… the mystical hill of legends, where every step feels like walking inside a story.
Located in the Gajapati district of Odisha, this sacred peak is known for its mythological presence in the Mahabharata.
With clouds touching the mountains and cold winds carrying ancient whispers, Mahendragiri is not just a place — it’s an emotion.

⛩️ Temple & Location Narration :
Our journey begins at Yudhishthira Temple — a serene stone structure believed to be connected to the eldest Pandava.
Walking further, the trail takes us to the mighty Lord Hanuman, also called Maruti, blessing travellers with courage for the climb.
The breeze gets colder as we reach Bhim Temple, surrounded by stunning valley views.

Next comes one of the most talked-about spots — Kunti Maa’s Sanduk.
Local stories say it’s linked to Queen Kunti during their vanvas, and people still feel a divine silence here.

From there, we trek towards the highest Mahendragiri viewpoint — the place where clouds sit below your feet.
Arjuna Cave comes next, a natural formation believed to be used by Arjuna for meditation.
Every stop here carries a piece of history, mythology, and unforgettable beauty.

Welcome to my Mahendragiri travel vlog!
We started our journey from G.M at around 10:12 AM in an Eco, with friends and my elder brother. The road to Mahendragiri is filled with mountains, forests and pure adventure vibes.

Our first view of Mahendragiri Hills came around 11:45 AM — cold wind, silent valleys and unbelievable scenery.
From night camping around the fire to early morning trekking, every moment felt magical.
