DJI O4 on 1S with Lens Mod

Finally took a knife to the DJI O4 lens. The process was straightforward but I would not call it simple...it is very easy to make a mistake and damage something...I...almost did, lol. 1 pack flight comparing what is seen in the goggles and what footage looks like after editing.

3D printed a mount and even though there were a selection of lenses to try, settled on this one which I used on this flight. It's lightweight, no odd discoloration on the footage that I noticed but the distortion is distracting. I found it very hard to center the lens, you may notice the right side of the footage has a bit of blurriness to it...I'll play around with the lens.

The extra fov helps for very tight close proximity flying, which is specifically why I did it for this build. After running it through Gyroflow and testing some lens profiles, footage looks quite nice!

What you think? Video quality look decent off this lens? Might be too distracting flying with that much distortion?
